I offered him 4k no reply he wants 5k think that's a bit over enthusiastic I see the plate between 500 to a 1k max. taz 420 is for sale for under 500 ! Good luck selling it and get well soon !

Strikes me the thing to do would be to put the plate on a retention cert., flog the car for £3K for a quick sale then advertise the plate separately.
Some people really don't 'get' personal plates. I wouldn't pay to have one.

That would definately be the sensible thing to do but problem is ive lost a leg to a mutant cod, pearl diving off Canvey, so i need to get a downstairs bathroom and havent the time or ability to get it MOTed and transfer the plate.

When he's at home between you both, you can come up with ideas for autos and hand controls etc, to keep his mind on things TVR! If I was fitter I would take your car on, to add to my collection.
But my progress is slow, if things change I will be up for it, if its not been sold!

Andy Cheers Mate, getting used to being a monoped. Back home after nine weeks in hospital and want to get back to work in 3-4 weeks. Hope your recoverys going well !! Neil
