My next itch will probably be either a TVR of some description with an LS in it or a Giugaro Esprit Turbo. Wyn me old mucker, I honestly think you'd find an Esprit Turbo soulless. Nippy, yes undoubtedly, but the flying-jacket-and-goggles, ignition-on-contact-swing-tallyho sense of occasion that you get with the TVR Wedge just isn't there in an Esprit. Well not for me anyway. That said, give me a Lotto win and I'd have another as a track car without a shadow of a Brussel's sprout. Mine would run rings around the 390.

A good friend of mine had an Esprit Turbo and it was pretty clinical and boring, i'd prefer a 450se or better still SEAC by miles over it in driving pleasure.

Rob Well it's like this Rob, the wee beastie has done less than 2000 miles in the last three years, due to us sailing every weekend and now after a very wet week on the boat we have decided to put the TVR and the boat on the market, and pool the money to buy a bigger boat! The Tiv still tugs the heart-stings very time I hear it roar into life, but a lack of time does not allow much playing so it's mow time to pass the baton on and let someone else enjoy a truly unique wedge. Hi folks. Just thought I'd say hello. After 3 years of being TVR less I have returned to the fold. TVR has always been in my blood from my early teens when a bloke near where I lived had an old Tuscan. As I grew up I remember the Wedges, specifically the SEAC, at a time when I was running about in a MK1 Escort RS Turbo. After a Painless 220 miles journey, Steve's SEAC now sits in its new garage. I will no doubt have many questions over the weeks to come as I explore H5EAC. I may be working on the weekend of the fest but will try to get if at all possible John

That's a great story - welcome on board John!
Now you can 'have' any Escort turbo that crosses your path... ;^)
