Just checked the forecast and it says rain which probably means it won't..Well most of the time it says dry and it rains so i will just believe the complete opposite..Bloody MET office..Useless...I gave them a right rollicking a while back about the inaccuracy of their predictions..I was actually amazed that i received an apologetic email back...laugh

I don't care if its drizzling cos the roof is staying on...The N/S window is becoming almost impossible to close, Not sure if its the motor but it stops about 2" from the top and its like the battery is flat..I have to drop it down and operate up a few times..Pain in the wotsits....

Mark, you need some lube - the window runners could probably do with some too!

Have the door cards off, check the connections at the motor for corrosion & clean as required also check you're getting a good 12v to the motor.

spray some silicone lube into the window channels, and some copper grease into the the central runner and you should see a marked (geddit!) improvement.

Hi Wayne...We normally meet every weekend weather permitting..During the winter months its normally a short meet which is only a couple of hours max..Spring and summer are better as we tend to go for runs further out..Say from the Hot Rod Diner in Northfleet kent to Bodium Castle or the fish farm at Hawkhurst for tea and cake...Maybe organise some coastal runs in the good weather..

In the beginning it was a bit dodgy advertising a "Sausage meet" in a London park but any shenanigans soon get splashed with hot coffee..It didn't help being named..."Señor chipolata"...(Thanks Gav).....hehe

Thanks Zig.. I'll keep an eye out on the thread, would be good to meet up.

Luckily I'm not really a fan of 'the Sausage' I'm more of a Burger man! wink

Live weather feed from the park.

Ground is wet and a light spitting from the skies.

Another good meet.

Chris, I've checked that headlamp and it's a good'n. Non sealed unit and the silvering is good. Metal outer frame a bit pitted and it does have a side light so a grommet is needed to blank it.

You're welcome to it as a stand in until you sort a pair of replacements.

Afternoon all.

Got to be in Bracknell on Saturday morning so can't make it this week.

Chris, I can leave the headlamp in my garage that Mark can access. So if you're meeting up with him this week he could collect and pass to you.

Assuming you're happy to oblige Mark.

Moving on, Mark if you'd like a hand moving stuff I'm around on Sunday and the Box can carry a fair bit.

Cheers for that mate...I will first need to list whats there and make a decision on whether I'm to flea it or put it in the "Hoards list"...I have nowhere to put it at the moment in my flat....

Having loaded the Box up, putting the lamp up front so I could just pop it in to the garage 1-min down the road I then promptly forgot to go to the garage.

D'oh. Wally.

I'll try and get it there on Friday night (late).
