Hi Mark

Would you like the Yellow beast in front of my local art wall. Its changed every three or so months so it will be differant to my 350i or SEAC! If you want more then any of my cars can go up there if you need to fill the pages!

Hi Andy..Thats a kind offer but i would like to reserve pics of the racer for a special type of calendar that i have in mind to either run alongside next years wedge desktop in either an A4 or A3 size...(Dont worry its cars only)...I will announce it soon, Im just hoping there will be enough entrants as it will be specific...Cheers..Ziga

Chris...You any good with a tin of spray..hehe...I will google to see if there are any places in your surrounding area...Cheers..Ziga

Update:..Chris there is the Fleetsbridge Underpass albeit a bit of a notorious place in the past but they have encouraged young talented people to illustrate graffiti there for the skate park..No tagging is allowed so thats one solution..I will contact poole council and see if there are any other places that they encourage street art...

I am not trying to tell you how to run your little hobby thing but how many calenders are you doing?
There are only so many wedgers and to have more than two calenders is a bit beyond most people! So don't go and go over the top with them! Because you have to payout to get the calenders and if you are left with unsold ones, its your money you are wasting!

Hi Andy..Thanks for the concern but although it might seem that im sticking my neck out to go overboard on the calendar front im only actually planning on adding one more to what i normally do which will be the BNG calendar, But as it will contain ladies posing with the cars, Clothed i might add which might not be everyones cup of tea there will be the yearly wedge calendar but instead of a wall calendar copy of the desktop i was thinking about a completely different theme and creating a racing wall calendar which will feature wedges at the track..However if there are not enough entrants then it will be the theme for 2014 and a copy of the desktop will be produced instead..I have some new printing options that will allow the calendars to be A3 in size and good quality but very affordable..The desktop calendar will always be a desktop calendar..there might be three different themed calendars but its a matter of choice and i will be careful not to over order...Even if someone was to buy all three it would come to as much as one calendar of the same quality if bought elsewhere..Last year just under 50 desktop calendars and 50 wall calendars sold..The BNG calendars will essentially be aimed at people who actually attended but obviously others are entitled to purchase..I also have the option to run more off if needed..Im aware that people are careful with their hard earned cash but when it comes to charity they always dig deep as is proven with monies raised and donated previously..Also if im totally honest i havent always made all the money back on them but i always give from my own pocket to charity anyway so its not an issue..Cheers...Ziga

Mark & Chris

Is the pic you are discussing the one on Chris's profile!
If so its not a Centurion, its a Comet at the entry to Duxford!
I have in the past (over 20 years ago) spent a few days working on that actualy vehicle!

You are bring back memories for me here!
The Cent AVRE was a tool and a half!
The Basic tank was built at the end of WW2 and the AVRE was stil inservice in the first Gulf war and was in fact the heaveist Armoured vehicle in that war!
They are great fun to drive and its takes a very skilled driver to make them perform well.
One draw back though it take over 8 hrs to change the plugs!
But a good repair crew could change an engine in 10 hours. The gearbox weighs more than a TVR and the clutch weighs more than a TVR engine, clutch and gearbox combined!

Hi Andy and others, at the static display at the RE museum at Chatham you will find both variants of the short and long span bridge layers i.e the chieftan and centurion chassis as well as the AVRE and the Challenger based variants, well worth a visit guys

Great vehicle to play with, I converted one to give disabled people rides in!
Did you ever go swimming in one?
