I used to have one as my company car years ago brand new and it was surprisingly good for quite a long car
Even took one round Donnington racetrack and it was totally predictable even in a 4 wheel slide round corners at high speed
The brakes were second to none then as well

"It's a thing of beauty" ... if you have cataracts.
Beauty as they say, is definately in the eye of the beholder.
Maybe it's just my taste in styling that sucks, but I've never seen a French car that was fair to behold.

Now if it was a Citroen XM... at least they have some 'road presence', even today. I used to run a Renault 25GTX (vaguely wedgy)... supposedly the first car that had full engine management as I recall. That was a nice car apart from the saggy rear end... but if you had a few hundred miles of Autoroute to cover on a hot sweaty summer's day when the kids are kicking-off and the wife's in a mood, there was no comfier place to be than the driver's armchair of a '25, cruise on, aircon wafting, feet on the dashboard (yes, really )...
