Hello chaps!
Good news is it looks like BBWF is not going to clash with work this year.
I'm also VERY much hoping to have the 350i on the road before then.
So (provisionally) I'm hoping to come down in my '85 350i - so far as i can tell it's an early S2 (Englishman's old car). It's still on the trailing arm rear end for example.
If I do make it, I'd be very interested in putting the old girl on the rolling road too.
We'll see how much progress I make on the car in the coming months. The weather needs to warm up considerably before I even entertain the idea of hitting the garage!
Cheers, Bob

I see you're in Nottinghamshire.
It's a large county I know, but I'm also in Nottinghamshire, actually I'm just to the North of Nottingham town, near Arnold.
Will be good to catch up at some point .
Cheers
Mark
133 days left for you to prep your cars, because on the 134 day the Biggest and Best Wedge event of the year will be in full swing.
Then you have the evening fun, Food, Disco, plus Live Entertainment and of course the beer and if you are serious the famous or informous Rusty Nail
So come on get booking now, we still have plenty of rooms at the Hotel, also at the banquet, etc!
(Off course if you are coming on the Friday then its 133 days for prep and 134 days to the fun!)

I've only seen two other wedges in the county - what coulour is your car?
I've seen two, white 350i cars in the area, but that's it.
I can't wait to get it on the road. It's been a bit of a saga, but I'm hoping to get going on it again soon.
If you're about, I'll be down at The Limes on the A614 this Sunday morning from about 10AM.
A bunch of us meet up there for a monthly retro car meet. I'll most likely be in a Land Rover. Either a V8 90 or an ex-MOD Series III.
91 days to go
We know have the 350i press car attending the fest!
This is the third 350i pre-production car made and was the second press car!
It's in poor condition body wise and the interior is a bit untide.
The engine compartment is in a fairly original condition and it will be run on the Rolling Road to see how much the original exhust manifolds and air cleaner system restrict the engine!

84 days to go and with the weather improving we have a lot to look forward to!
Next week we should have sorted out the memorabilia items!
So far we have.
Polo shirts with the BBWF logo on it and should you want your own name or PH name on it to!
Base ball caps!
BBWF Umbrella! (Very ltd number)
Wedge Stickers.
(We can even have them with other TVRs as an outline!)
Is there anything else you want!
