Hi

188 driving and drink days to the fest! woohoo

Well I can confirm we have the Rolling Road again. I have persuaded them to accept payment direct to them on the day.

But we still need you to book in advance (Separate post on the forum) so we know the approx numbers who want to brake there cars! hehe

This year the competitions will be divided into four classes;

The highest bhp for V6 cars.

The highest bhp for V8 cars.

The highest bhp for blown/supercharged cars.

The worst bhp for any car.

This means Zig has a chance of winning one of three diffferent classes depending on what he can get his car to do biggrin

Hi

The rolling road price has not yet been confirmed but I am hoping it will be the same as last year £35

The best thing this year even the poorest car wins!

Hoping I can make it along to the BBWF, and am interested in the rolling road. However, having no experience of such things, how likely is it to break my car doing it? Don't really want to do something for a bit of fun that results in lots of things having to be fixed!

As andy says rolling roads won't damage your car, or rather if it does go bang it would do it on the road anyway next time you gave it the beans! What they are good at is finding and identifying problems, just ask zig, i think he was happy with his wedge until its under performance was highlighted. Actually i've just realised rolling roads can turn out very expensive, again you'd better ask zig about it !

^I sent them email asking for room for BBWF, and the answer was that they have nothing booked under the name BBWF. Am I right to assume that this is the correct hotel?

  • )My experience tells me always to communicate with email first - it stays available to read again and is a bit cheaper to clear out misunderstandings etc, especially internationally.
