Hi
Sorry to be a killjoy here, but I can see apart from the fun, a recipe for injury etc!
The Hotel will let us do most things, but a beer barrel rolling competition may be pushing it plus they probably will not let us use one of there's. If we were to have this as another idea for the day somebody will have to bring a beer barrel with them so we don't have to ask the Hotel!
If peps want this as another feature of the day then lets us know plus who would like to source the necessary equi and get it there etc please let me know!

165 days of and yet more till the Fest
As you know the theme for this year is the 30 years of the 350i.
I would like to arrange the parking for the 350i to start with num 1 or if we are lucky any of the pre-production cars then num 1 and then to park the cars in Chassis number order no matter if its a DH, FHC or SX etc. The Series 1 cars to be folowed by the Series 2 cars right up to the last Series 2 car. Then the line up will continue with the 350SEs with the last made 350i (Which is a SE) at the end.
Then all of the other Wedge car's will be parked in their usual model groupings!
Does that sound OK to everybody!
I have asked Stuart to do us a logo featuring the 350i for us and he hopefully will be coming down in his 350i as well!

Sounds like a great idea Andy.
Let us know nearer the time when you, or whomever, needs the chassis numbers to sort out the order!
I'm sure that this will be a great fest (as they all are!) and 30 years is definitely something to celebrate there's not that many euroblob jelly moulds running around that can profess to having 30 years of heritage.

Chassis numbers on the 350i are relativly easy to sort out so we should not have to much of a problem there!

The Disco man in 2011 was Adam with his prerecorded music.
No this year we are going to have a live person (Well we hope they are Note Politiaclly correct here) to provide the music, so we need some imput from you all what era do you want the music from?
With only 158 days to the dancing at the fest time. The time is swinging its way to the big day/night event

Hi
I have just started a new post about the Banquet so if you want to book the Sat evening meal then please go onto that post to do your booking!
I have also updated the Rolling Road post, which has a disappointing situation which is unless we have some more takers then we will have no option but to cancel it, as we would have to make up and short fall with regard to cost!

145 days to go,
I have organised another evening entertainer to replace "Wedge Elvis". This act will perform some time in the evening in conjuction with the Disco.
Now in the recent past the Disco has been some pre-arranged music on a hard drive. This year we are pushing the boat/wedge out to celebrate the 350i and we are haveing a live Disco.
With music themed from the 60's, 70's and wedge years the 80,s
There will be no charge for this, it's there for all to enjoy. In the past the Dancing has been lead by a few ladies and gents in kilts. Now so far they don't appear to be coming south of the boarder. (They are saving the fuel for the Rusty Nail Run) so we want to see some more people up dancing. I off course would love to join them, and you never know I may in some way!
If anybody wants to arrange some scenery for the evening then please get in contact!
I have obtained permision to play a video done by the TVR Staff during the 80's of there antics they got up to in the factory and while they were abroad demonstrating the cars!
I will play this during the Banquet. It's basiclly them taking the p_ _ _ out off them selves and the motoring press!
