Hi,

I want to book the fest for Sat 13th July.

I have a couple of questions before I do book us a venue etc.

1. Do you want a BBWF next year, because so far we have had very little response to a previous post, and some very anti the fest from other posts, thus the reason for this question!

2. As much as we would like to find another venue. The Chase is the only one who are happy to except what we do. Yes its a long run from up north, and its a long run (Not quite the same as Scotland) from Devon/Cornwall, or even from Europe. So will you be happy for me to book the Chase again?

Please responed even if its in the negative, at least it will be something!

I will be there - as a punter! So it must happen!

Mr G. Metal said he's coming - and if he comes then you can count on a few more Dutch.

You may as well start the "BBWF 2013 - who's coming" thread... (or is this it already???)

Hi

Thanks for the response from some of you!

The Chase will hopefully be confirming the 13th tomorrow (friday), I will start a new list once we have that conformation plus booking details etc!

I will also arrange the same cater as this year as most people seamed to enjoy the food!

Plus I am also look at another attraction for this year, if this comes off we can realy see if our wedges can move! I am not going to say any more than that at this time!

Well, if my car's still running alright and if I still own it and if I'm in the country, then count me in wink

Just realised, there's a hell of a lot of "if's" in that single line!

So scratch that and let me just say: wedge or not I'll be there thumbup

I'll add this to my calendar. So far I have no idea if I can afford driving there on the summer, but I hope I won't be stoned if I'll need to fly in.

Edit: What's The Chase -place exactly? Could start planning early :-).

Hi Eero

The Chase is in Ettington near Stratford apon Avon, which is south of Brimigham!

Fun thing is I had just seen you post after finishing an e-mail chat with a fellow TVR owner who lives in Finland!

Please come over, by plane is obviously the easest way for you! Please keep in contact and if you need help with you travel arrangments let me know and we will see what we can do!

Ah, found it, thanks.

Also a wedger? So far there's at least 5 wedges in Finland (1x400SE bought new, my 350i, 2x350i imported after mine and 1x280i imported this year). I've also seen and met the owners of 3 Chimps and 2 Cerberas and 1 S. I just sent a question to the local authorities about the current TVR-count in Finnish plates.

Naturally, but driving (especially a Wedge) is much more fun biggrin, so it's of course the primary choice, if anyhow possible. Anyway I think it's better to be there than to insist on driving, so the plane as an easy and way cheaper way is an option.

I surely will ask if there's something I'll need to know smile.

I did mean the other way to get stoned, but I'll happily avoid both of them hehe.

Hi actualy was a Cerbie owner named Lee!
We were chatting about the work/holiday I had in Finland in 88/89 at Parola, the Finnish Tank Museum!
Plus the Finnish winter, we complain over here if we have an inch or two of snow and how the country grinds to a halt when that happens! While in Finland if you have 2ft of snow you just keep going!

One of the other Cerbie owners also has a wedge!
