I bet the sight of me in a towel looking like something the cat had dragged in will be etched in Robs memory forever lol

When he asked if I was coming out to play my answer of "I've been rustied" just said it all really.

It was a top weekend a cracking drive out yesterday and a lovelier bunch of nutters I couldnt wish to meet.
the Rusty was nice but it is a tad on the lethal side.

Been back a while now but the first chance I have ha to sit down.

Thank you everyone who attended this weekends BAR and helping making it a success yet again. Each and everyone of play a part in making this event so enjoyable bringing fun, laughter and not forgetting st loads of Rusty, Ask gog400 about it, he consumed most of it yesterday and was in a pretty bad way this morning but in true BAR/RNR form we just pissed ourselves laughing at him, sympathy zero, all taken in the way intended. Marcus I am as was everyone else was gutted for you. The massive effort put in to coming down so early and for it to turn out the way it did for you just sucks. But at least you did the tunnel of Roaring TVR..... Not a bad little tunnel that I am sure everyone will agree, well worth the £1.60....£2.60 if you drive a 420se though, I think you where charged extra Wayne as you made the most noise....That wonderful wedge is TVR porn mate.

Clive & Jane you two are stars and your effort and willingness to stay on till the end despite the weather conditions only goes to show what a bunch of people we are. This despite having to continue onto Cambridge, immense effort that we all thank you for.

Neil & Alan...Thank you also for attending, the sun really got out as we hit Kielder and back down the Ranges ...It was wonderful.. Thanks again.

A massive thanks to everyone who donated raffle prizes and for also buying raffle tickets... The final total after a little top up was £300. We went and seen Poppy and her Mum & Dad. We presented them with the raised funds and got some photos which I will post up soon.

I think a very important a gracious thanks from myself and everyone who attended a very large thanks and pats on the back to Bryan & Judith, without your help and commitment this weekend would of not happened and mine and I am sure the whole crews thanks are there in bundles... Judith I hope your feeling better soon and pain free, until then just keeping taking 2 Rustys 4 times a day and you will be fine.

Jeffery Malcolm Dickson in your absence you have been voted organiser for BAR IV. Get your finger out son!!!!

Just had gog this morning flash up infront of me again.... Off for a Rusty to try and erase it from my memory...lol

I hope everyone had safe journeys home, I can just see Sandy & Jonny driving side by side on the M6 sharing headlights.

Till September take care folk.

Rob & the NE BAR CREW.

A big thanks to Rob,Carol,Brian and Judith for all their hard work. A first class weekend in excellent company. Pity the weather was so bad on the Sunday but Jeff could use the same route next year what I'm sure will reveal some awesome scenery. Wishing you a speedy recovery Judith.
Ps didn't need the lights on the way home as the sun got brighter and the roads drier the nearer we got to Lanark.

Well it's all been said, a brill weekend was had by all and a big thank you to Rob n Carol and Bryan n Judith.
Really nice meeting up with the regular crew as well as new BAR members - Andy in his 350/390/hybrid and Wayne in his 420 SEAC both great guy's and they drunk all our Rusty, lol, especially Andy [poor chap] what a mess he was in the next morning i can just see Rob chapping his door at 10.10am asking if he's going on the run to be confronted with Andy in his towel up to his ar*e hurl.
Feel sorry for Marcus making it all the way down to join the crew only for his fuel pump to pack in, hope you got home ok.
Runs were great [both days] Sat sun was out , Sun we were in the clouds for part of the run couldnt see a bloody thing 6ft in front, Bryan, Rob and Sandy were in front somewhere but i managed to avoid all the dead sheep they were leaving on the road , lol.
PS - no sheep were hurt in this BAR run production.
PPS -- come on Jeff for next year.

You missed a cracking weekend Rich.....Poor GOG may of just woken up now. I did realise I called Andy GOG400 in a former post. I don't know what the 440 part stands for in Andy's PH handle but whatever it does stand for he lost 40 of them once he started knocking the old devils brew back.

Still bloody knackered now lol
I am getting too old for sitting up til stupid o'clock drinking.

The Rusty is nice but a bit sneaky, it seems fine until it belts you round the head drunk

PS

GOG440 was part of the number plate of my old rally car hence the name.

I will have to try get a couple of hours in the Wedge now the sun is shining again

Andy will have lost at least 400 of the 440 braincells drinking the "Devil's Brew"!! ha ha

Cheers
