Never trust a car salesman who can't even spell "A PROPPER INVESTMENT AT TRADE MONEY ..."
Also.."unmolesred" = Is that the colour of the interior?...And..."very saught after "...As said..Recommend a trailer if travelling long distances????.....Even when Delilah was running like crape she drove 250 miles with only a clutch cable snapping which was a side of the road fix!..Did nearly 500 miles on receding valves!...Perhaps the 25 or so miles a week its done over the last five years has something to do with it!...Rust in the fuel tanks..Failing metering head...Rotten accumulator...Who knows...At that price i would take my chances on a reasonably conditioned V8...ZigaTaff_o said:
It also doesn't inspire confidence when it says trailering recommended if traveling a distance!
Especially after the ad claims it's gleaming, no expense spared, maintained and rebuilt to high standard. The only problem is that if you wont do a long road trip it's probably best done on the back of a low loader!Sinicism apart, it is an old car and maybe the brakes, shocks and auxiliaries etc could be better. It's all there though and if he would take £3k?

Would appear this car hasn't had much interest as they've lobbed a grand off the price since it was originally posted, a bit more haggling and it could be a rather tempting prospect for someone looking for a cheap wedge....
you have to say its cracking value for a first TVR or something I went to look at it yesterday and the car wouldn't run, it has a split in the rear screen, the passenger door was a different shade of white, the targa panel needs recovering and the windscreen wasn't fitted correctly so definitely needs to be put on a trailer to be transported any distance
