Finally got around to having the JP exhaust from ACT fitted by the boys at Bespoke Performance today. Big thanks to Martin for fitting me in (they were busy!)

The SEAC sounds amazing..it sounded good before, but now..the pops & bangs on the overrun are hilarious! biggrin

Looking forward to getting the system for my 350i from ACT. Got a good feeling speaking to them.

I have purchased numerous exhausts from Tim for my previous Wedges over the years...and they have all been superb!

Mine arrived, was fitted. No problem. Standard, not noisy.

Look too good to put on the car when it was layer out on the living room floor, trying to work out if you could make a coffee table out of it.....

When the manifolds go, I shall be going back there.

In fact I was chatting to Tim about manifolds too. I sort of thought it would be beneficial to get manifolds at the same time but Tim talked me out of it telling me that there was no real benefit and that I should wait until they go. Nice not to have someone trying to sell everything they can to you!!

Just checking my history, 2005 mine was fitted. Crumbs, that long ago. The manifolds are tricky I am told, as they are still in one piece I have left them as well.

Yes, I was thinking about having a chat with him about a set of shocks and springs as well.

Wayne - it looks good, sounds OK.. but you are rev'ing it like a girl.

Can I suggest that you drive round to my place immediately and I'll take the SEAC out for a spin and you can follow on my HP4 .. just to check out what it sounds like.

biggrin

Sounds good - it's great getting a new exhaust!

Reminds me of when I drove up to Nottingham in my first 350i with a patched-up mild steel exhaust - various bits almost dropping off, and had a new stainless one fitted by PD Gough.

When I came to collect the car he started it up while it was still on the ramp - I think my grin made his day! I went up one size in pipe which added to the rumble.
