I was going to do just that but I'm really running out of time and I've decided to leave them as they are due to lower maintenance. For now anyway, I may Polish them at a later date

Final big push !

Most of the interior back in :



Refurbed Jag injectors fitted, oil system filled, connected the starter, primed pump by pouring oil back from the filter inlet, oil pressure now comes up, trumpet base fitted, new rocker covers fitted, injector wiring completed, new clutch hose (slightly too short) fitted and system bled.... To do list is slowly getting smaller

Whohoooooo she lives!!!

Reset fuel pressure and she fired up after minimal cranking

Another late night....

Pretty much finished engine bay, pressure gauge needs removing once I've done a quick test run.

Well after a minor panic with the wrong front springs it's now mot'd taxed and tucked up in my garage...

I've just been looking at your boot/tailpipe mod - make sure there is plenty of ventilation underneath because those pipes will tend to cook the GRP. You might consider adding a heatshield. A thin aly sheet will reflect the heat.

So are those wheels cerbie ones, or what?

Cheers Adam, boot mod box already lined with glassfibre / foil heatmat, just need a bit more for under the bonnet.

Yep wheels are ex cerbera OZ Somethings I belive, hanging onto the split rims as I may get around to sorting them, maybe.

Still have few jobs, idle speed is too high, AFR is on the lean side so the fuel pressure needs to go up a bit, antifreeze to go in etc... Never finished...

Fronts now 800lb, rears 325lb which is a bit higher than the usual seems OK though have done 250 miles since I picked it up, massive improvement, it's like a different car!!
