Yes zig mine is the malpassi type. Ordered a gauge - hoping it will arrive midweek. The FPR came with a bracket but it doesn't fit properly - it may be for a different car ? Going to make one up it's only a bit of folded thin steel . Do you leave your gauge connected zig? Thought that was supposed to bugger them up !!!!

The reason my bracket won't fit is that the kit is for a Hotwire system and the fuel rail is different. No matter 5 mins should sort out a suitable bracket. smile

Afternoon all. Have fitted a fuel pressure gauge this afternoon and adjusted the fuel pressure regulator. All seems to be well - idle is super smooth , instantaneous pick up on opening the taps, and pulls like a train on acceleration. I have done the adjustments as per some photo copied sheets that came with the FPR. ie:
Start car - remove and cap the vacuum pipe from the FPR - set FPR to 38 psi. - replace vacuum pipe to FPR - FPR then reads 24psi.
Is this correct ? The photocopied instructions are somewhat vague.

Cheers fellas
Thanks for confirming setting up procedure. Went for a quick test run after and she just sings - smooth, responsive and (maybe psychological ) a little faster? The stalling when coming to a halt has been remedied too. Checked all over the fuel rail etc on my return for leaks but it's all dry as a bone smile Plenty of pops and bangs in the cold air too although my ears were frozen by the time I got home but it was such a bright afternoon there was no way the roof was staying up. biggrin
Must get to a meet soon thumbup
