I'm sure the Boxster is a very nice car. Quite pretty and all ergonomic as well. Might even have power steering.

I managed to blag an invitation to Marshall Aerospace 100th anniversary where they had an awesome air display including the Red Arrows. Apparently, during the display some bint managed to get through to Sir Michael Marshall who was in the control tower at the time on Cambridge airfield. She had phoned up to complain about the noise and even persisted after he told her that it was only once every hundred years. Anyhow she said that she was somewhere in Cherry Hinton, and he looked over in that direction only to see the Vulcan approaching at about 300 feet on full chat, just before it went over her house.

I think he just quietly replaced the receiver.... ;^)

Oops. Just played the video on full chat. Woke up my daughter, frightened my lad and got told off by the wife. Saw one years ago at Sealand airshow near Chester where the Vulcan hit the afterburners and tried it's best to stand on its tail. I'll never forget the noise.

The Vulcan is TRUELY awesome, and part of the V force.

XH558 is the last one flying and I'm sure that even she has some "niggles" for the engineers. (and a leaky fuel tank is MUCH more of an issue on a jet plane!) but they get on and sort her out to keep her flying.

It comes with the teritory of old vehicles, I have a love/hate relationship with my wedge, but when it is working and I'm in the driving seat I can forgive all the hassle.

I can understand the frustration, but you wouldn't find me driving anything German, yes superb engineering but £££££ x lots. As my everyday transport I have a Jaguar XJ Sport (X300), all the comfort with some (plenty) of the oooooomph, and "cheap as chips" right now.
