Wouldn't have thought they were a TVR part!

Anybody know the source? I need 2.

OK if no one knows the source (if not tvr) can anyone confirm that they are in fact the same as you have on your 390 or 350 etc, presuming here that 400's will be different. Also has anyone found anything else that fits? was called checking this out at the fest but completely forgot along with most other things.

If no joy looks like something that might need to be fabricated from st/st or ali and then polished.

Thanks

They look familiar but it's a while since I saw one - the last time was on full fan many years ago and one started rising up the windscreen!

What's the betting they are Ford - Orion or some such?

Hmmm...

They do look close guys but they have 9 separate vents instead of seven and have a definite longer tale on one side, if it wasn't for this longer tail on one side i would think they were actually the same but just with more vents. Whatever they are certainly close enough to ask the dimensions and as you say, certainly look like they could be a ford item, very similar mold.

They are also varied in length with two small sections in the centre of the dash so they must of used the complete set from something...More research me thinks....

The obvious suggestion is a bigger Ford, say Granada...?

Im still on it mate...As much as its frustrating..When i first acquired the 280i i was on a mission to find out where every part came from...I remember now why i gave up...biglaugh...It would be totally cool if some well knowledged ex-TVR factory worker could appear and enlighten us all..Save a lot of trouble...Any how I'm not giving up this time...
Just to correct myself there are two sizes and not three demister vents..

1.
...Athough i wouldnt mind betting this wasn't even a vent from anything...hehe
2.

My car hasn't got any trims, just gaping holes. I think the last but one owner missed the point and had his mechanics butcher the holes larger in an attempt to improve the demist.. rolleyes
