Hi all just wondering if any of you are thinking of going along to the Neil Garner open day, 27th September? It's being organised by the TVR-CC Wiltshire group. Location is Malmesbury in Wiltshire. I'm hoping to go along and we may get a convoy across from our next of the woods.

As Glen says a great day, great weather, TVR's as far as the eye can see and the thunder of the dB shoot out and rolling road all day. Wedgers were obviously Glen, Dom, Ade and myself.

I convoyed down there with a local Chim 500 and Griffith 500 and we had our own dB shoot out with a Tamora on the M5 heading home.

I correctly guessed the time of the pit stop wheel change and I've won a day helping out Neil Garner and his team in the pits at one of the Britcars series races. I'll see if I can get a pass out for the Donnington day on the 1st November.

A few photos of the event:

Great day, nice to meet up with everyone.

I never went on the rollers due to the misfire shame as I was looking forward to it.

Nice pics chaps long live the Wedges.

Was a great day yesterday, good to see fellow wedgers and some cracking cars...

Keith - congrats on the pit stop challenge win ( it was nearly mine ) hehe
Glen - Really nice sounding Wedge.. needed new ears after !! just sorry I wasnt quick enough to film it..

A couple of pics coming up - cars that were slightly different !!

Anyone name the model ??

Just before leaving, I did let my matey Malcolm take the 350i for a spin with his daughter - think that made his day.. just cant believe I swapped a TVR for a Pram !!

After the work done last week to mine, it ran perfectly yesterday which I was very happy about.. so treated it to some new high spec HT leads from one of the trader stalls.

I thought it was a Sag from the first pic...Only saw the front end but now it looks like a Tamora with a Sag face lift?

Yup - your both right..
According to the owner, it started life as a Tamora but with a few 'mods' has been transformed into a Sagora ( Think I have that right)
It was really well done, I had to take a second look when walking past - realising they never did a convertable Sag.

Found out this morning from another NG post.. Apparently Les Edgar was there walking around also.. !!
