Wasn't there a more curvy wedge concept car milling about at the same time as the Griffith concept? Someone posted it up in the TVR random pictures thread a while back

edit: found it, speed 8 concept, definitely not this

THat looks like the MG Concept car at Gaydon. IIRC that was the TVR 350 Wedge they bought for evaluation , and re bodied it.

Definitely Chim like from the back. I stuck my head underneath and it looked like pure 350i running gear and dash with a different body dropped on.

That MG has more than a hint of recent Jaguars about it too.

Anyone want to have a crack at the green monstrosity on the left in the last pic.?

The wheels remind me of the Viva/ Magnum and the colour is straight out of BLs 1970s 'Vomit & Diahorrea' collection.

Not big enough! biggrin

...or hideous enough hurl

... though it does look out of place alongside other cars from the same marque.

Such a shame this never went all the way.....

I saw this car in the flesh, not sure if it was at the motor show back in the day, either earls court or nec or maybe at the factory I turned up at Bristol av on my way back from a tour of the norf in about 93-94ish in my 350 and got the full tour, bloody awesome!!!!!
I love the look of it, did it get cut up.... Shame!
Cheers

+1...Would be nice to know what happened to it....Is it out there somewhere waiting to be found or did it as you say meet an untimely end...I hope not...Ziga

The TR7 was project lynx 2+2 - 80% tooled when it was scrapped by BL .
A ford Capri beater. I think we had 4cly 4 valve ( Sprint) and Rover v8 version’s running. The V8's were realy quick in thier day
