After spending a couple more hours under the car rubbing the chassis down I have to say I'm getting pretty sick of getting bits of rust in my eye. I've tried 2 sets of goggles and they seem to be fairly useless as stuff is still getting through, does anyone have a recommendation for a decent set of safety goggles(if there is such a thing)?
On a separate note I finally swallowed a brave pill and decided to take the sills off to look at the outriggers properly, got the drivers side off and it's in fairly pristine condition Didn't have time to do the other side today but hopefully it's in similiar condition

Hi mate...Good news about the outriggers...Not too sure about what goggles to recommend but perhaps something like these that are for use against dust...Maybe shop around a bit....Cheers...Ziga

Uvex do some good ones too like this:

they look like ski goggles and you don't half look a tt wearing them (so no change for me then...) but they do the job. I got mine for free after an ebay purchase went wrong and he sent me them instead of some grommets or something...
