Wedge calendar theme 2015...

Hi Peeps..Well it getting later in the year now and so i need to set the theme for next years wedge calendar.

Unfortunately with a fair bit going on i never got round to organising the "Wedge with Wings" Calendar..Unless there is an autumn possibility but in general most of the planes are put away for the winter until the spring...Anyhow don't rule it out as it WILL happen at some point.

Right i have been thinking about next years calendar and would like it to be a picture of your Wedge photographed somewhere that is nostalgic for you..Somewhere with a personal happy memory and as always no people or other cars in the pic please...Best quality you can do and cloudy days as well as bright ones are needed.

Also it would be nice to get those of you who haven't been in one yet in one...So get snapping please....Thanks..Ziga

Ziga, whats the timing requirement for pictures mate?

Mine isn't photograph able at the moment, in fact it isn't derivable, no bonnet and no wing mirrors!

Mind you that isn't the biggest problem, every time i think of somewhere nostalgic that means something to me, i realize the ruddy place isn't there any more

Hi mate...Normally the cut off is around the end of November...If Nostalgia is too challenging then i will think of something else in the next couple of days...What about outside a traditional english pub...Older the better...Not that I'm advocating drinking and driving..Im also thinking of a montage wall calendar with engines...Wheels and interiors...Probably some random TVR logo shots as well...Cheers...Ziga

Just throwing a few suggestions in here.. not sure what would work for everybody...

- A local well known landmark
- The oldest building in your area - castles / pubs / theaters etc..
- Something motor / car related
- Favorite Building / stretch or road in local area..
- Boats / Harbours / Brigdes
- Food related ( good one for me )
- Wedges being fixed / MOT'd / on ramps
- closeup of Wedge with something else 'wedge' related within pic
- Funny road signs

what do you all reckon.. some my be impracticle for everybody.. any other ideas..

Shops give ma an idea for a theme - if we pick on a national chain and each take a piccy outside their nearest one... What would be a good one though? I don't favour Halfrauds... Unipart are shut down (although maybe the shops are still there? Could be an idea... nah just streetviewd mine and it looks pretty naff.)

Was thinking cheese shops but luck would have it my local picturesque one is down a pedestrian passageway (not wide enough for a Tata Nano let alone a wedge!)

mmmm..Dont forget that each year there is a theme in the title..If anybody has ever noticed??....Like the "Wedge of Wedges" for the first one i did and so on..So a "Wedge of cake...Or more appropriately Cheese" would be apt...Although don't forget no other cars or people in the pic and always high res please..

And Please NO maccy d....If theres one fast food outlet i detest its that one..I don't buy food from clowns!..Ye ole shops of old please...
