Starting to make a list of jobs that I need to/want to do over the autumn/winter months and the door seals, roof seals and targa seals are on tbe list. Now what I want to know is has anyone tried something other than the stock seals and if yes have they worked?

Hi Jon....Try Seals direct for the seals...I bought some boot seal from them and it fitted exactly....The boot seal is ETS619 and you need 4 x metres.

Not sure what the part number is for the door seals but if you measure the old stuff and look on their site then you will find it...I think someone did order some a while back...Think it was Number 7 so he might have the part number...Hope it helps...Ziga

Over the years I've had seals from Vintage Supplies, Edgeware Motors and Woolies.

Many many years ago I bought a full set from Central TVR. Worth asking some of the older dealers if they have any original in squirrel stores?

If you're letting any water in, I would also check that the roof stays haven't started to break - made a massive difference to me.
