I'm not sure of the ratios mate, sorry, but I suspect that top gear on the 4-speed would be 1:1 whereas it was a bit les than that (something daft like 0.93:1) on the 5-speed... so the 5sp would fractionally have the edge, although a true overdrive top would have been nice.Ian, If I mated the diff to a 4 speed long geared type 5 box, would that make it a bit better on the cruising?
