Event City show - No Wedges

Went to the classic car show at Event City Manchester today, great show, loads to see but disappointingly no Wedges or even per 80's cars on the TVR club stand, just Chimp, Griffith, T350 etc.

Was going to join the club as thinking it was time i did but not sure again now as not sure if its lack of interest from wedgers in the club or lack of interest from the club in wedgers?

In my experience of 25+ years of TVRCC membership, a lot of these events are locally organised, so info might only get circulated around a small group (unless you can be bothered to keep checking such local events somewhere on the TVRCC website). In addition, I do think that Wedge owners tend to be viewed as "proper enthusiasts" (sweeping generalisation there)and therefore further down the TVR hierarchy as owners of the later stuff.

Five Wedges at last months local TVR-CC meet up our neck of the woods. Think it must be down to the area.

I'm going to the show in my 400se tomorrow
I've been to the lancs & the Manchester TVR meets and there is very few wedges around this area
