As this event is also a joint TVRCC event (although I could be incorrect on this) why not use the TVRCC gazebo, I believe they courrier as required, and then your, a) saving BBWF funds, b) not looking or somewhere to store it for 363 days of the year?

Just a thought.

I didn't think that it was, but I could also be completely wrong. I thought that some of the reasons the BBWF came into being was to avoid some of the bureaucracy of the TVRCC, and that it wouldn't support a single model event.

Yes it did, but that was over 10 years ago when the idea of single model meets was pretty new. Since then the club has adopted all of the single model meets as TVRCC National Events, so Chris is correct. If Zig speaks to the office they will courier over the Club's gazebo if it is available plus any flags and bunting they may have and then arrange to have it all collected again after the event. And as the BBWF's ranks this year looks like they will be swelled by a good number of our Griff friends, then I am sure the office will be even more delighted to help out.

Hi Peeps..Just to clear a few things up...Last year the club did courier a gazebo over to the chase albeit missing the sides...But thanks to Keith for bringing his gazebo, It was a very wet morning...smile

We used the club's one for the welcome tent..They would of sent flags and buntings but didn't have any spare as there was an event on elsewhere..I managed to buy a couple of TVR flags so all good.

The club also gave me public liability insurance and donated some stuff for the raffle...So not all bad...

I just think that it would be better if i bought a new one, Especially as they are cheaper at the start of the season..Storing it is no problem..Putting it bag in its original bag might be, Especially after a night of whiskey binging ..wobble...
