Hi mate...I was thinking of getting a P.A system out in the car park for next year so that could be a sneaky option....yikes

I wouldn't worry too much I'm hoping to have finished my wedge in time, so at the very least you'll have competition for quietest wedge biggrin

hehe.. I think the DB judges will be a bit suss if I ask them to stand next to the speakers, not the rear end of wedge..

It would be loud though - may even be some competition for Glens 129.2 db he managed at Neil Garners..

I've lost track the last time my 280i made a noise... got to get it back on the road though, it needs to enter the DB shootout - a real contender wannabe with stainless straight through 4x tail pipes hehe

The above car is one number off my original reg number B820 MLL - so would most likely have originated from The TVR Centre, Arkley Rd, Barnet, North London.

Hi Keith...At this moment in time they cannot provide any more rooms..If there are any cancellations then i have first dibs..Im even looking into the possibility of people being allowed to camp if they want to..I will also have to sign the contract soon or there is a chance we could lose the date we have been given...Cheers..Ziga

"Gredge" is a mixture of a Wedge with a 5.0ltr HC Griff engine...That goes like a scolded cat...I know of one..And know it very well...In fact here we are together...

Actually the irony is in this pic from Wedge to Gredge...smile
I think the two on the left are the parents and had an illicit affair
and made the one on the right (sorry Chris)!!! ha ha

GredgeFest would be good and I hope I can make this year

Cheers

Rooms still available on their standard terms at the Chase for the weekend in question (have just booked).
Went down this route rather than booking via the 'event' because

A) I own a Griff not a Wedge and it seems only fair you lads get the first go at whatever phenomenal discount Mark has negotiated wink

B) Not by any means certain I will actually be attending (can't really plan this far ahead due to work) Standard terms mean I can cancel anytime up to the day itself.

Obviously I don't intend to cancel and if I do I'll let people know via the forum there may be late availability.
Likewise, if I can commit a bit further ahead of time and we're struggling to fill the rooms that have been reserved (seems very unlikely but you never know) then I'd be happy to transfer my booking across.

My OH can't believe I'm this organised hehe

Hi mate..Maybe you have hit on something there...The rooms i have been allocated are as is and won't change unless we don't fill them by the deadline...As for rates..Well lets just say some more negotiating is in order..

I guess the only way to see is if people that want to have a joint venture book for that weekend and then we can change the event name on the day....Simples...idea

I've tried booking a room for the Saturday and gave up. First tried to go through main reservations number and was told the booking isn't set up as yet. Then tried to book direct with reception and girl on desk didn't have the first clue. I've left contact details for a reservation but will call again tomorrow to see if I can get some sense out of them.

Hi Keith...Im speaking with them on Thursday so hopefully after this bookings will become easier..Sometimes the girls on the desk are like a tit in a trance...(As lovely as they are)..This year when i went to pay for my room on checking out they tried charging me £450 for the Saturday night meal and another £150 for a couple of rooms..Everything worked out in the end though...smile
