Hi Steve...The fest is booked for the 3-5th July 2015...Hopefully something will give in the way of rooms so that the Griff crowd can join us..They are welcome to anyway but it would be nice to have a joint event..

Rooms can be booked for the fest as of next week...I will put the day up as i forgot to sign all of the contract on Friday...DER..... ...Cheers...Ziga

Do we know if this is indeed a joint Wedge/Griff do? There is a post on the general TVR-CC forum regarding the dates and one individual posted saying he thought it was the 13th. I've posted and given the correct dates but I'm not sure if it's just Wedges again or not?

Mark - do you have any more news?

Hi Keith...As far as I'm aware up to date they still cannot release any more rooms...However the option for booking outside the event is available but unfortunately no discounted rates will apply...If the government suddenly ban the use of push bikes then there will be loads of rooms available..Apparently there is a cycle rally the same weekend..Should be fun...I know a good proportion of cycle users don't like cars ! ...I bet they have never seen a push bike on a rolling road before...laugh

I will post up a separate thread but essentially people who intend coming will be asked to email me rather than having a "Who's coming" post..This is to avoid advertising the fact that people are away from their homes for a weekend..Some are not comfortable with this.

Also due to the limited amount of rooms available there are some minor details that will be applied to bookings...I will be contacting all those who attended this year...Cheers...Ziga

Hi Tony...Did you speak to Nicola Moseley?...I thought the rate was £78 per night for a double occupancy for 2 nights..
This is how its actually written on the contract that i signed.

Standard Double/ Twin Bedroom-£68prpn Single Occupancy (2 night stay). £78prpn Double occupancy (2 night stay), £78prpn Single occupancy (1 night stay), £88prpn Double occupancy (1 night stay).

So you should only be paying £78prpn?...I will call her again but she only is there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday put o the afternoon...Cheers...Ziga

I don't know who it was I spoke to, but I did say to the person that I thought it should be less than that, but she didn't seem to know much about it. I still, went ahead and booked it but I said to her that should it turn out to be any different, we could adjust it on the day, and she seemed to agree.

I shall ring Nicola Moseley on Thursday about the confirmation letter and sing 'Return to Sender' and the 'Wonder of You' to her, then I'm sure she'll correct it.

Sounds like a lot of faffing to book through the Fest discount so I have just gone on line and booked fri/sat night, double occupancy, including breakfasts for £185/92.50 per night.

A little more expensive but you can cancel any time up to and on the date of supposed arrival, so if I decide to try and book through the fest discount later if rooms are available, I can cancel this booking but at least this way I am guaranteed a room, which seem to be in tight demand.

Its a right pain in the wotsits really as we only have half the rooms that we were allocated last year...I will be bringing up the fact that people are having problems booking when i speak to them on Thursday...Be careful booking outside the event as you might not have inclusive breakfast as well as paying more for the room...Ziga

At £88.00 per night for two nights for a double room, double occupancy, my booking includes breakfast. I will be calling them late on Thursday to see if they can do a BBWF discount.

Ziga, are there still rooms available at the discount rate?
I forgot to book until I saw this pop up again.
