Am I right in saying that the Castor adjustment is carried out by increasing or decreasing the the length of the front stay bars as connected to the front lower suspension arm to the chassis?

Yes that's right ,
no camber adjustment tho unfortunately

Any advise as to DIY setup of castor?

Diy,just adjust the arms to drag the lower balljoint forward.
Then see how much the wheels lean over on full lock wink

I did manage to get hold of an original 390se datasheet, the factory settings for the front are;

Camber 0° +/- 30'
Castor 3° +/- 30'
KPI 6°
Toe 3.2mm +/- 1.5mm
Toe out on turns Inner 24° Outer 20°
The state that most Wedges' suspension bushes will be in, it probably doesn't stay 'adjusted' for long anyway wink
