I have a couple of these pewter-look models, a series 2 350i with the roof up and a fixed head probably 280i but not sure....
Does anyone know if there were anymore Wedges made? I also have 3000S models, both with the roof up and down so wondered if the 350i was available roof down too....??

Cheers, Al.

Thanks Ziga, no problem happy to help....
Just thought the only difference with the 3000s models is the roof so it would have been easy to do the same with the 350...
I bought a few at the Enfield Pageant years ago, Taimar and 3000M, which again are only different above the waistline, also Vixen and Trident....These are all large scale, approx 1:36, but the ones that could be made into keyrings are approx 1:87, being the Chim and Cerb, don't know why they never made a Griff...

Cheers, Al.

Surely a few minutes with an angle grinder will sort out any excess roofs...

Yes for a normal model, but these are solid pewter looking so there would be no interior detail and anyway I don't have a spare 350i model, also if you're a collector you want the model made by the manufacturer, if that exists...In total I have 8 large scale 1:36 models and the two smaller 1:87 later Tivs, is that all that were produced?

Cheers, Al.

About 15 years ago I had a bar of soap in the shape of a Cerbera, perfect detail down to the wheel spokes. It was that good I took a rubber mould off it and made some plaster ones biggrin

Thanks Ziga, got the Spark models, the 350 seems to be the rarest for some reason and to my mind looks more like a 280...
In fact I have all the Spark Tivs and as far as I'm aware all the models/toys that have been made, including various different colours on the SMTS white metal ones and the Promod Griff, even have the Cerb soap still in its box as previously mentioned...
I'm always after different colours if anyone wants to get rid of an old model they've had sprayed to match their actual car....

Cheers, Al.

I collect mainly but have made some of the SMTS and RAE kits in different liveries, eg the SMTS Speed 12 in the plain white livery as opposed to the Scania colours...
