Thanks all for the positive comments, really appreciate them. smile
Maybe a little less background music and more exhaust would have been better, but I'm otherwise happy with it. Its just good to get some Wedge exposure on a car website.
The CT guys did a great job! Though I was more concerned that my ugly mug and monotone voice would ruin it!

Sorry Paul.. come back to the darkside, get another SEAC!! hehe

Thanks Wyn.. I didn't know you had a VX220 Turbo now? Ace handling car..& quick! I came close to buying one a few years ago.
Yes, bends the laws of physics this thing but ironically it might have to go as it's affecting my back. rolleyes
It's like trying to climb in and out of your own washing machine on a daily basis. headache

Never had a wedge, always admired the SEAC, loved the vid, could have done with more exhaust and less background music!
Had to smile at the view of the hacked exhaust outlet through the rear valance, pure TVR!
Admittedly, it's one of the areas that bugs me. Repeated exhaust & tail trim removal has caused the damage. I will be getting it sorted over the winter.

Really? Oh no.. well, I can sympathise with you there. One thing I do know is..you have to look after your back!
What's on the list as replacement for the VX then?

Even a bit of carefully placed metalised tape would improve it tbh.

As much as I admire (drool) over the big wedges and in particular the SEAC's there is just one thing I don't like about the overall look.....the "tea tray" rear spoiler, I much prefer the look of the SE style rear of the boot lid mounted type!
Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same?
Rob.

Well mate...You can get more beer on a tea tray spoiler than you can on a 400SE type and if you are into surfing then its amazing what a couple of rubber grommets can do....smile

I think you either love it..and get that that is what a SEAC is all about..as Clarkson would put it, "It's a big loud shouty car" or you hate it.. or at least dislike it.
I love it, it's part of the SEACs DNA, it's aggressive in your face character. Something like that anyway. smile

Plus, it's a piece of TVR design racing history.. It was created to provide shed loads of downforce for the race car in the 80s, but they needed to homologate it..and so the road cars got the spoiler.

Personally I don't think it looks right on any other wedge but on a SEAC it just does and it wouldn't be the same without.
