If anyone had a spare flapper wiring loom in complete (or mainly complete) condition, i've got beer tokens waiting.

They must be getting to the end of their life now - why don't you make a replacement loom and swap over the multiplug to it? For the injector etc ends you can still buy new sockets.

VWP sell not only the 2-pin connectors (complete) but also the crimp terminals used in the ECU's multiplug so you only need to save the shell and rubber boot. They used to do the 7-way connector used on the AFM as well, although again, it can be reused with new terminals.

When I built the injection loom for my car it stood me at about £60 all-in, although I did buy too much of each colour wire. ISTR there were a couple of the original colour combinations that VWP couldn't match so I had to use others. The wire they sell is the modern thin-wall stuff so the loom you end up with is slimmer than the original even though the copper cross-section is the same.

I don't have an original loom to work from unfortunately.
