Front brakes, what to use!
Discussion
Im at the point of deciding on braking for the front of the FHC.
I have:-
390 SE vented discs with Granada calipers (with the spacer)
the original set of solid discs and Granada calipers (without the spacer)
I also now have a pair of AP four pot calipers that will need to have a spacer for the vented discs.
Now, do I keep it original, do I fit the SE set up, or do I fit the AP four pot calipers to either the solid disc or the vented disc??
Whatever way it goes down I will be sending the calipers off for rebuilding and anodising and I believe the spacer kit from the Granada set up will also fit the AP calipers.
On a side note, the Taimar is back on the road and running great again!!

Sounds good matey .... from experience with the Gredge I would recommend the Princess 4 pot route with grooved vented rotors as it is a straight forward upgrade. I tried them with Green Stuff pads but I have since changed them to Ferrodo standard ones and find them better and non squeally
Mark, I might pop down the diner this morning, about 10 as usual?
Chris, if you are going can you put your timing light in the car so I can have a quick check up please??
Adam, I think Ill look at rebuild costs including the spacers on the AP's and go from there.
Rob, my apologies, Ive sent the interior photos this morning.

Stu, my experience with the princess 4 pots and vented discs is that the pedal is very wooden and the lack of feel does not give confidence. Personally if you have the AP set up sitting there then I would stick it on. Just my opinion matey. As you may well remember I'm not one for originality where improvement is possible!
Hope you're well.
