Think it's the first time I've seen one of these up for sale on flea. Only other one I've seen lately is the one on Ades car. What sort of power increase do they generally give? I'm assuming the injectors are uprated from standard units?

HJ2 can tell you probably a lot. What I remember is that the RV8 is running lean and this will make it worse in standard setup. For road use it is.... not required, it was only done to homologate the Vitesse engine for racing and get more out of it.

Jesus Iolanthe Christ, you could cut and re-weld two standard plenums to get much the same effect for a fraction of that cost.

Yeh, can keep it at that price, greedy bastids, can't see the point of twin plenum fed through that y piece and a single air flow meter though, it's only gonna, get as much air as will flow through that single meter. Dickriculous bloody price anyway.

They are supposedly tricky to balance the twin throttles (complex linkages, possibly made worse when worn). Why not just get a Tim Lamont one?
Interesting collection of bar towels as well

Very pricey and ok for a tuned bigger V8 but as said the 3.5 runs lean and this makes it worse. Got to be cheaper ways of getting more bhp than this.

Currently at 500 pounds and no bids .. a few years ago it would have fetched twice that money .. wonder what they are worth now? It still wouldn't surprise me if it goes for over a grand!

I have sold two recently and not got over £500 for either.

£1k would buy you a brand new Carbon unit from ACT.

While the plenum is slighly bigger, as the others have said, better going 71 to 73mm on your cuurent one, as balancing and single filter / air flow source is aguable as to if it would acually improve things at all.

even the JE Developments triple plenum with throttle bodies is only £1450 ("only" I say lol)

a grand for the SD1 is OTT IMHO

My twin plenum 4.5 looks good and is no slouch either.....I didn't know that they fetched that sort of money!!!

I think that throttle bodies would be the best bet for your money....ouch!!!

The extra litre capacity over the bog-stock 3.5 might be playing a part as well wink

Thought you could fit the Jag injectors to supply the extra fuel.

Crossover manifold and 8 x bike carbs perhaps? The opportunities for adjustment would be endless!

My plenum has no throttle body at all, which lets even more air in!
