...Or put such a high reserve on them so that they wouldn't sell anyway....It must be a really tough decision for anyone with a collection of cars to make, For some its their life..It would be mine if i won 10 mil...It must cost a fortune to maintain and show car collections and unless you have massive infinite pot of money then sooner or later the cost outweighs the worth although its a lot to also do with "Passion" so money isn't always the issue.

Its great that we have the passion for these cars even if some of us don't get along as people..I can just about afford to keep my 350 on the road although some things are starting to happen that may change that...Obviously using these cars everyday does have a down side.

But sacrifices have to be made so bring all your virgins to me and i will make sure the TVR Gods stay happy.... ..Even though the words.."Good God" don't always mean good!....

To me it is nuts to dump so many specialist cars at the same time in to a small market. More to bid on, lower bids per car.

He should have sold them in ones and twos in the spring. He would have realised a higher price!

Different cars, different markets - someone bidding on a £1000 restoration project is unlikely to be competing with someone bidding on the racer for example

True, but there are four of them with a guide of £2K. Too much choice I think to get the best price.

I thought the factory SEAC would be worth more..

If I had the garage space, I'd be tempted to buy my old 450 SEAC back...Good Wedge that one.

On the TVRCC site he says that they are withdrawn except the press car its interesting that none have been sold already seeing as most of the potential purchasers know they are for sale

i have register, plan to go to buy...................whats the point !

i have andy's number will ring to find out what' the crack

hopefully nothing bad but likely the only place that has a interest in the wedge is here (group hugs and all) as trying to get the normal TVR world intreseted in a display of wedges like advising ya previous birds you have a dose, not overly welcomed (shame really as Andy was as much of a tool as all of us)
