This was recently advertised and bought but seems the buyer was only after the chassis and running gear so another one being split. Dropping like flies.shoot

Is this the body shape Interceptor is looking for, for his rebuild in New Zealand? If the body is likely to be scrapped then I wonder if an offer for the front half might be cost effective? All down to the shipping I guess.

Actually he's a lying barstard - he's advertising a wheel nut in the title and picture 10 (stuff not for sale) shows the wheels still on - so the wheel nut isn't for sale after all!

It was advertised on a few sites. Here's one link to previous forum entry.

Gents, just a heads up but this car is being stripped and the new owner is clearing off the bodyshell and interior bits at VERY reasonable rates indeed. I've got myself a spare roof stay for a price including delivery I am extremely pleased with. As the guy says the auction is for 10 days then all unwanted bits will be skipped. If there's anything useful in the pics then suggest you make him an offer.

Mark - if there are trim items you are after then he may accept a silly offer or might even be worth offering to take some of the bits off his hands. I'd hate to see useful parts ending up in a skip!

If I lived nearer I'd have whatever was left over just so that the bits weren't wasted.

..not too far from me - as you say would be terrible is he ends up 'skipping' bits of it - id be willing to mount a rescue mission to save any left over bits !

The guy who is stripping the car, Stu, seems a very genuine guy. His mobile number is on the flea advert so suggest you can give him a call direct if need be.

Kit car? Sebring Healey thingy? Each to their own I suppose. At least he has offered up the left over bits for spares for those that contact him. I still hate the idea of a car with a good chassis being butchered. ranting
