Yet another being stripped for spares......

Well the trouble is while wedge prices are as low as they are, this will keep happening.

When enough have been destroyed then the prices will probably rise due to the rarity of the remaining roadworthy ones.

Kit car? Sebring Healey thingy? Each to their own I suppose. At least he has offered up the left over bits for spares for those that contact him. I still hate the idea of a car with a good chassis being butchered.

Its worst than that mate...Firstly i was asked to secure the shell for someone and then the same night another fellow Wedger called me and ask if i could collect the pods and motors and then learnt that instead of taking them out he cuts the bloody nose cone off where the bonnet line is...WTF!!...Then i asked about the trim as i wouldn't mind building up a collection of parts for my trimming ..He tells me that there is a "Middle bit and bit on top"..(Transmission tunnel & Centre console)...When i asked about the dash he said.."Oh theres only the clock end left"?...When i asked him to be a bit more specific he said he wanted the gauges so he cut them out of the dash....

His day job is demolition..Your not wrong there mate!....

I said he could of got £500-700 for the shell and he say's he couldn't give a toss about it as he is not into TVR and don't need the money...Further in to the conversation i mention the pods again as i need to pay him on behalf of someone and he said.."Yeah just bring the cash...Always grateful for a bit of that.." Talk about self contradiction...I will save the best bit till last as no-one will believe what he intends to stick on the chassis...Everything else is destined for the skip!...Trust me i had to bite my tongue..He sounds like a right tw@t.....
