Hi Peeps...As I'm planning to replace my radiator soon I'm gathering up all the parts that I'm going to need for this job on my Wedge.

I have:

1. Radiator...Hopefully the right one.
2. New front bumper rubber.
3. New mesh.
4. 8mm ID Blue silicone hose from expansion tank to swan neck overflow..Normally 12mm ID..(I think) to 8mm ID, I have a custom header tank.
5. 15mm ID to 8mm ID Blue silicone hose from bottom of expansion tank to top of rad O/S overflow with a 15-8mm copper reducer with rings.

Now the hoses for the top & Bottom radiator hoses are listed as:

TOP HOSE

"Land Rover defender 2.5 P/D"

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-2-5-...

BOTTOM HOSE

NRC4844
http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&...

Now i have been out there to see what is what and did a rough drawing of what i need...

Now by the look of it the listed Land Rover top hose is the bottom hose on the Wedge...Correct?...Makes sense as then the radiator would be upside down in true TVR style...
Minus the cuts the listed parts look right...Can anyone confirm as i need to order them.

Cheers...Ziga

Zig,

have you considered either of these for silicone replacement hoses, I've used both in the past without issue.

I'm sure you can get the reducer hoses from them to, so no joins required.

Hi Paul...Yeah thanks for that...Thats who i use all the time..Sometimes JS if you need them made...But its shoestring time so I'm going with the OEM type for now..I did buy the rest of the hose that i need from ASH..And looked at the rad hose as in 4 x 32mm ID Blue silicone 90 degree elbows and 2 x Stainless steel 32mm OD joiners but it comes to more than i can spend at the minute...Im leaving the fan on manual only for now as it was when i got it..TBH I'm going to plumb it all back as is even though most of it doesn't make sense as i have had no overheating issues...When i got a bit of spare cash then I'm fitting a temperature fan switch and buying some blue stuff....smile

Most of it blue now anyway so two or thee black ones are not going to be out of place....In fact black and blue goes nice together...Sometimes you get the sets coming up cheap..Ive been looking but none yet...Cheers...Ziga

Hallo,

A long time ago I needed some hoses for my 350i and in the end I found out that TVR used some Rover SD1 hoses which they cut up in the pieces needed.
Partnumber were GRH537 and GRH 600. I bought those and the majority of the hoses came out of these 2.
I hope this helps.
But double check just to maker sure.
Hans.
