RED WEDGE ON GUNTREE,
Discussion
That's mine and it's not for sale. I bought it last August. These are the same pictures from the original ebay add. This is a false listing. Can someone do me a favour and contact the 'seller' to see what's going on before I go round to see him and go off on one (his office only a mile or so from home) just in case it's an innocent mistake.
Thanks

Just been checking their complaints list.
Just drifting the thread a touch, what do you guys think about the wheels? I'm just about to change them for some BBS lattice with covered nuts.
Personally I don't like the current ones. More than happy with the original alloys and looks. Just my opinion though.Just drifting the thread a touch, what do you guys think about the wheels? I'm just about to change them for some BBS lattice with covered nuts.
This happened when my 280i got sold the second time...Initially it was bought from carsandclassic but after a week i saw it come up for sale again on Ebay so i contacted the new owner who still had the car?...Could of been a scam as they were asking for a deposit...
As for the wheels...Not keen on the ones on it at the mo...There are not that many wheels that really suit the Wedge in my personal opinion..Oz and lattice alloys look good...There are options...You could call Douglas valley breakers to see if they have any...They can be a bit on the expensive side though..There are lattice Compomotive wheels available..I believe they were the original makers of the Wedge alloys....I found one on plumtree but its a 14" for the 280i....

Five spokes wheels are pretty much 'in keeping' for the Wedge as the infamous OZ split-rims were 5-spokes... but they were thick spokes which help, as the rear suspension looks odd when you can't see brake discs behind the wheels!
Those there ^^^ look too modern IMHO, the curvy flarey bits don't work. Slabby, squarer 5-spokes are better.
