Bit of an odd one, does anyone mind taking a picture of what their wedge looks like from behind/under the front bumper.

i ask because mine has a piece of ally riveted in between the bottom of the bumper and another bit of the car, presumably to stop water splashing up, wondering what was there originally.

Cheers

Well not quite yet flying...Its just a light hover at the mo..I had a bit of a mis-fire as well so thats not good when hovering ..After removing the wheels we managed to break the 5 feet hover barrier...smile

I would say the mesh is definitely easier to replace with the car in the air...Although don't rely on hovering alone as it was built by TVR...hehe

That mesh looks quality mate.

However I actually meant behind the spoiler: so at the very back of the spoiler, someone has riveted a little peice of ally to join up to another part of the body, presumably to stop water splashing up and to keep it all a little more stable.

Might be wrong, but is it not there to deflect the air towards the radiator. Rather than allowing it to escape under the car. Had a similar sheet of aluminuim on my Esprit S1. Could be a good mod for all wedges.

Yes does look like its to direct air flow into the Rad, my 350i doesn't have one anyway.

That looks like the rad has been out at some point as we had to do similar with mine when we replaced the rad,,,There is a piece if fibreglass there that looks like a long tray..It does seem to vent upwards...Yours looks neatly modified...Mine was just fired at with a bolt gun....rolleyes...hehe

How is yours held on...Mine was riveted to that flat bar you can see in the pic so they were drilled out..The bottom was just flapping around..My mesh was also rotten so it was easy to pull it off...Have you managed to get the front up in the air a bit?
