350i power steering hose leak.

Morning all.

A hose for the 350 power steering has developed a leak - it seems in the past it has been bodged with two separate pipes with a joiner and loads of sealant..

Has anyone got any info regards to the donor or type of hose / lengths needed ? I'm pretty sure it is one of the hose's approx 1" dia from the pump to reservoir.

looking in the parts catalogue, the only hoses I can see refer to the 280i.

Hi mate...I should think that the 280i would be very similar if not the same..They are the same type of pumps and the same racks so.....I would say anything with the fittings on related to the 280i should be right...Check the length though....Ziga

I've just had a pair made up by the power steering store. They haven't been delivered yet but I can send you their contact detail. I suspect they will need the old hose to copy.
