Just sourced some ball joints from first line through a local motor factors... the part number is FBJ5025 which is for the Cortina MK5 part. There was controversy to whether the part was off a granda MK2.. this has a part number for FBJ5036 (these are both FIRSTLINE part numbers)

Hopefully Ive gone for the right one. getting it in an hour but If anyone knows the correct one I'd appreciate knowing before setting off HA! As apparently they are slightly different.

At a quick glance the Cortina and Granada balljoints look the same but the Granada ones have a longer 'baseplate' - you'll soon spot it as the holes will nowhere near line up with those in the lower arm.

Cheers Guys,

I can Confirm that the one I ordered is a winner! Only thing is the two larger bolts that came in the Firstline kit weren't long enough, so I put the old ones back! Not really an issue.

So Cortina MK5 seems to be the ones... Hope this helps anyone else looking.
