I really am worried about my sanity yikes
Why I keep trying to make my 390 reliable lord only knows !!!!

So, I decide to finally get the new track rod ends fitted today, great stuff the steering and steering wheel is now dead straight.

I have some time to kill before picking my little'un up from school so decide to give it a jet wash. That is after spending a couple of hours during the week polishing it.
What happens when I get to Morrisons ??? The rad completely gives up, coolant p*ssing out everywhere, good night all mad
Then to top it off I notice a fooking great big nail in a tyre. furious

So I certainly wont be going to the fest in the wedge anyway, oh well.

idea I might get it trailored there and whack it in the autojumble eek, as long as someone can give me a lift home...... :

Am tempted to go in the beamer and give it a dyno run (remapped 530d) idea

Oh well..............................

Are you sure it's not a split hose? Or the otter switch? In which case not too hard to fix.

The tyre can be repaired if not near the sidewall.

Keep plodding on Ian. I was 14 months getting mine going again. Its still not 100%.
Just keep at it and think of the fun, noise and smiles once its done smile
Yours looks way too good to loose.

Thats right mate...Ian stop fiddling and start fixing...If you have an issue with the ECU then get it to BBA in Rochester..They rebuilt a friends ECU for his 350i and it not only looks like new but also has a lifetime guarantee ..Not bad for 200 smackers!...Now his car is running better than it ever did...

Get the rad recored or buy an early Griff rad as they are the same..250 smackers..A bit more for a new rad..Say £300...Get the otter switch welded up and fit a thermostatic fan control faucet...Renew shyte hoses...Go over all the connections in the engine bay..What else is there?...I reckon you could spend 500-700 squiggles and have the beast useable and reliable...Yes there is such a thing as a reliable Wedge...But they need regular fiddling..I mean fettling..You got me at it now...The rest can be plodded on with...

By all means bring it to the auto-mumble but be aware that whatever gets left i have to take home...smile
