Hi Peeps...As said previously there is going to be major congestion on Saturday due to the Grand prix..Some roads will be closed...

Friday 3rd

Between 6.30am and 12.30pm: A43 northbound one way from the B4525 interchange to Silverstone, will be closed.

Between 12.30pm and 6pm: A43 southbound one way from Silverstone to B4525 interchange will be closed if traffic levels are high.

Saturday 4th

Between 6am and 12.30pm: A43 northbound one way from B4525 interchange to Silverstone, will be closed as well as Dadford Road one way from the A43 slip road to the ‘West 10 roundabout.

The A413 Silverstone one way from Whittlewood Bridge to Winterhills will be closed if traffic volume is high.

Between 12.30pm and 6pm: The A43 southbound from Silverstone to the B4525 interchange will be closed as well as the A43 northbound one way from

Silverstone to the McDonald’s roundabout.

Dad ford Road will be closed one way from West 10 roundabout to the A43, will be closed.


Cow Pastures one way from A413

to A5, will be closed.

A413 Silverstone one way from

Winter hills to Whittlewood Bridge, will be closed if traffic volumes are high.

Sunday 5th

Between 5am and 12.30pm: The A43 northbound one way from B4525 interchange to Silverstone, will be closed as well as Dadford Road one way from A43 the A43 slip road to the West 10 roundabout.

A413 Silverstone one way from Whittlewood Bridge to Winterhills A413, will be closed if traffic volumes are high.

Between 12.30pm and 6pm - A43 southbound one way from Silverstone to B4525 interchange, will be closed and the A43 northbound one way from Silverstone to McDonald’s roundabout will be closed.

Cow Pastures one way from A413 to A5 will be closed and the A413 Silverstone one way from Winterhills to Whittlewood Bridge, will be closed if traffic volumes are high.

Organisers have advised motorists to take heed of road signage around 12.30pm on Friday Saturday and Sunday, as thee will be a short period when the one-way system is reversed, which will see traffic operating in both directions.

Drivers have also been encouraged not to rely on sat-navs to get to the track as they may not take road closures into account.
