Not quite ready. Car boot is packed but I'm giving it another run to the office tomorrow to get the brakes bedded in further. This evening I've put a new vacuum pipe on to the servo. Tomorrow when I get home, apart from a wash I want to whip off the front wheels and double check that the new calipers and discs haven't worked loose. The kit from HiSpec didn't come with any nuts to retain the disc to the hub so the mechanic has used flange nuts plus copious quantities of loctite. I'll get the brakes bedded in and then I'll post separately re the brake kit. Generally excellent but a few issues that people need to be aware of. The "kit" is not quite as simple a swap over as it sounds.

Safe journey to all. Reckon ciderclock will be about 5.30 on Saturday......

Cars all ready! Checked everything, cheeky little polish (although after the journey from Cranleigh to Warwick (105 miles ish if going direct) it should be pretty dirty when I get there!lol!

Got the manifolds in the boot for Chris (zig, I've wrapped them in an old bedsheet so easy to transfer and clean) and got my flying toy ready and charged.

Wish I would stay and get drunk with you chaps but only a day event for me...pregnant wife says I must wink

Drive safe and look forward to seeing you all driving

What I do is leave some thin polish on (e.g. MER) and then polish off when I get there - gets all the dead flies off easy!

Can't wait. The white "humbug" wedge is ready to go. Quick wash and wipe in the morning and I'll be arriving about 11.30am ish with a few of the WWM crew in convoy.

Think I'll head straight for the rolling road :-)

See you all tomoz

Really wish I was going, I can only imagine the glorious noise of that many wedges. Hope it's great for those of you going, I'm determined to make it to bbwf eventually.

If anyone is coming down from the North East and wants a good breakfast before landing at Ettington tomorrow morning, I can recommend the Long Itchington Diner for a great greasy spoon breakfast.

If your plan was M69 then around Coventry I suggest you check out jumping off the M69 and onto the A5 then down the Fosse Way even if you don't fancy breakfast.
But if you do, the detour off the Fosse Way to Long Itchington is only a small one.
