After a fortnight touring Caithness, sutherland and argyll in the astra with wife and kids, i took the wedge out today.
The TT first....fine, fun all good.
Then the wedge....same route as the TT around the local roads. The handling, the noise, the looks, the sound, the smile. What a car. Love it. And its "only" a 280.
Bring on the rusty!

I dont mean to sound unkind or ungrateful, but i'm going to have to swap the TT for a v8.

Well having owned a 280i which i loved very very much and still do..And although it feels like a big part of my life went with her once you drive a V8 theres no going back...(Sorry Delilah)....The 280i is a beast in its own right and even after what i have said i don't consider them a "Step up Wedge" as were called in the past...If the supercharging of her had worked then i most certainly would still be driving her, She would of been having a new interior by now....Where the puck is she?

My 280 is by far the funnest car I've ever had. I'm tantalisingly close to having her back on the road. Between child number 3 arriving and trying to move house it's been difficult.
It breaks my heart to walk past it on a sunny day and get into the merc.
Hearing about the rest of ye getting out for a rip is great motivation smile
