By comparison 25yrs ago a 1984 350i FHC was for sale at £9300 a 1984 350i for £9750, a 1986 350i FHC for £10995, a 1986 350i for £11700, 1988 350i £17500, a 1989 450SE for £23950 and a 1987 420 SEAC £24950.
So interesting that the fixed head models appear cheaper then and clearly the best investment is a SEAC.
Dooh, should have bought the SEAC when I had the chance all those years ago at Haughins.

Yes there are 2 Tasmins on the bay at the moment a blue 350i for 7,000 and a white 280i for 13.000 both in very good condition but will the sellers get this sort of money for them only time will tell. The white cars reg is A118 FLW my A-reg 280i is 113 FLW and i have a photo taken at a classic car show in 1997 of a silver 280i with the reg A116 FLW anyone any idea where these registrations come from or if there are any more FLWs out there.
My silver 280i auto (now deceased) was A117FLW
As far as I could tell from the documents mine was bought direct from the factory
but that doesnt tally with the reg number which shows it was registered in north london

Green one looks an absolute bargain at that price. No wonder it sold so quickly. Nice to see them hopefully moving on to people that will fettle and use them.

They do. The green 1986 350i advertised here on Monday sold to me on Wednesday. Compliments my green speed6 cerb nicely.

Thanks GOG440 North London interesting and nice to know that there were more A11 FLW regs around they must have been numbers from at least A113 FLW to A119 FLW.
