I got the bend from ebay but need a bit of of cutting so it would work on the angle I wanted. Also the Samco joiners allow some engine movement.
I need to re-do it as stole parts for the racer, but now got a different system on racer, with remote throttle

So it's done! Looks much the same, but the underneath is now ready for many year's service. There was a big hold up waiting for the new shocks, and a 3 page bill, but what the hell! The weather was terrible today so I set off on the 10 miles drive home with the wiper going... at first it was fine. Then the stroke started to shorten with every wipe until it barely moved! Quite interesting to say the least when combined with the asthmatic blower. So what the hell happened there? It was like there were threads unwinding somewhere or the motor was unscrewing itself with every stroke. Any ideas? Something to tackle yourself?

Cheers fellas. I'm already on the facebook zig, thanks!

Getting a brighter day for a picture in Belfast is likely to be challenging!

Car is great. Engine strong, gearbox smooth. The only niggle is the jiggling over bumps, particularly at low speed. I'm pretty sure the shocks are adjustable so I'll see if it can be ironed out
