I am sure many of you have received the recent email from them (if you are on the mailing list) about the new parts on line site??

Is it just me or is it about as much use as a "pocket in a sock" and only selling a few badges for Wedges?

Also interesting they have "Tasmin" and "Wedge" listed under the model section. I know its technically true, but keep it simple surely? They'd are going to be so many identical parts they may as well chuck it under one heading. I must be bored to be ranting about this hahahaha

Disappointing that they think Wedges have a 100 amp fuse. Who are these people, and should they know better?

I got a new starter off them this week - £111 + VAT, with TVR-CC discount, compared with several dealers selling at £130 + VAT. It arrived the following day, no issues. They admitted that they have received a fair amount of Wedge stock, including some from David Gerald but have not as yet unpacked it and got it on the system. This is something they will be focusing on over the next month or two.

What the guy said is if there's something that you're after, even if it's not on the stock list, then give them a call and they can have a look through the DG stuff in particular.

Sorry I've not been keeping up, what's the story with David Gerald then selling off stock? Wooly

David Gerald sold all old stock to TVR Parts. Problem is TVR Parts haven't unpacked it for 4 months!

And thats just the half of it.....As Keith said the price of parts is actually quite competitive which they need to be if they are to go forward...And they are offering cheaper prices to TVRCC members...

I think the new TVR needs all of us to support it for it to support us...I know there is a lot of scepticism and some of what has happened so far is a bit strange...I mean why would you put a chunk of money down on a car that hasn't even been designed yet...Or has it...I bet we won't be disappointed ....smile

My two pence worth ..... this seems to be a continuance of why TVR went wrong in the first place, they rush into things without doing it properly and rely on the loyal ownership to complete their development and put up with a poor service.... Not good ..... I was sort of hoping for a brave new world under different leadership..... We will see

Had an interesting call today from the owner of this site....

Seems this is not a "TVR spare parts" site but rather a site selling items for "enhancement" of your TVR, hence the reason for the specialist items advertised. Seemed like a nice chap ... So we await a site selling the elusive Wedge spares ....

Hi mate...I have dealt with the said person in the past and is as you say a nice chap...But I'm not sure he has thought about the title as this WILL conflict with TVR Parts ltd...And they WILL be on his case!...

The "Wedge" spares will come through TVR Parts ltd once they have had a chance to sort through it all and work out whats what...Mind you they could always ask us....smile

Actually the story is even more convoluted as I was filled in at Wedgefest...

The David Gerald stock was actually all inventoried and itemised (mostly).

However a deal was done and the parts "snapped up" in what seems great haste.

The inventory is held elsewhere.... ho hum.

And there was me thinking this was TVR Parts LTD... a rival parts company? Noticed Obsolete TVR is now no longer as well - gone to TVR Parts Ltd

So theres two TVR sites! Interesting. I'm assuming that Parts LTD is the TVR Official site?

Can't think of any Wedge specific parts that are important that can't be found elsewhere or re-furbed?
