Wedge calendar 2016
Discussion
Thanks Howard for the kind words...Every year i email the manager of PH and ask their permission as regards to the calendars, They always oblige which I'm of course very grateful for...Perhaps i should of asked the Club as regards to posting up..Not sure who but thought it should of been okay..Being a member..And an organiser for a recognised National event...??
Im sure i have asked for pictures in the past on the Club's forum but stopped as i do not get any takers, Just a lot of views..There are only 13 spaces on a calendar..I try to throw a couple of different ones into a wall calendar, Sometimes i have to down to low res pics but at some point every road going Wedge of all model will feature in a Wedge calendar..So far there has been 60-70 over the five years i have created them...Which still leaves a few to be entered in it..I wonder how accurate this is...

Anyway I'm NEVER in it as the rule of the calendar creator is so...I can have my birthday in it....Or if someone who owns Delilah now takes some lovely pics of her then it would be lovely to see her in there...
I always buy a calendar as does my ole mum bless her and donate to the fund as much as i can afford...Im always grateful for the support given by the Wedge fraternity..I do get a bit anxious though as calendars that don't sell is money lost from the pot..I do have quite a few left this year and I'm normally reluctant to order the wall calendars as they are more expensive, So if any one else would like a desktop or wall Wedge calendar then please email me.
I would like to say a big thanks to ALL of you who have so far purchased and kindly donated to the fund, The money we raised and donated is a massive lifeline for charities like SMA.Support UK, The first £1,000 we gave them bought loads of sensory toys for the children and babies and our continued support will go on to help them learning and growing.
Once all the calendars have sold i can then total it up and let you know what the total of the BBWF fund is, I will also hand in a copy of the account with receipts and letters of thanks to the TVRCC as a matter of protocol...
So i raise a glass to you my friends and look forward to another year of Wedge madness....

Hi Mark,Yes me too. As Wedge Editor I find it very embarrassing.
Maybe it would be a good idea to email the club next time to ensure they will help support their own National Event.
Goodo mate...Glad everyone likes them...Still have some left though if anyone is interested...They are NOT just for Christmas as they last a whole year....
I have around 20 Desktop calendars left..So if anyone hasn't ordered then please do so before they all go...Which they will as its for charity ...I have one wall calendar left.
Thanks to all of you who have purchased and donated, I will announce the BBWF account total once all the Calendars have gone...Thank you for your continued support...

Ziga, I know we shared a couple of emails on the calendars already but I wanted to more publicly say thank you. I appreciate the effort that goes in to a project such as this, and I was so pleased when I saw the quality of the calendars. Even more, I was very pleased for my son Stirling, seeing his car featured for one of the months was a very pleasant surprise for him.
Cheers, and all the best in 2016

Thanks for the compliments...However you all deserve a pat on the back really for providing such wonderful pictures..The Wedge for me has a timeless appearance, Almost futuristic.
I used the extra discount this year on a better grade of paper..Its normally good quality but thought as its the 5th year of the Wedge calendars id push the boat out a bit...Actually being the 5th year its an excuse to... Which means i might throw a competition out there based on the calendars....
Cheers....Ziga

Hi Peeps...Thank you all for your orders and very kind donations, There are a few desktop calendars left and i was going to order a couple more wall calendars...Please say now if you would want a wall calendar as this will be the last lot for this year.
I will let you know what we have raised to go toward the charity/BBWF fund once all the calendars have gone.
A massive thank you to you all for your continued support.

Thanks Chris
I still have around 10 Desktop calendar's left if anyone is interested...They need to go as its a minimum of £50 from the fund...Thanks...Ziga
Hi Peeps..If these calendars don't shift then i will be reluctant to waste money on them next year...I have tried to keep the price down for you and in fact the price has not changed much in 5 years... I have bought 4 even though i only need one...I still have around 10 Desktop calendar's left if anyone is interested...They need to go as its a minimum of £50 from the fund...Thanks...Ziga
So if there are those of you who haven't bought one this year then please spare a thought for the tree's that were used to make the paper...All the plants..Coral and animals that went into the colours...All the fossil fuels that went into the production and printing and then theres me trudging down to the post office where i have to cross a toll bridge controlled by a nasty little troll character who always over charges me and who one day WILL end up in the river...And then theres the poor little helpless children who don't even have the strength to turn the page of a calendar who rely on me and you to help make their lives a little bit more bearable....So please have a heart...Have a calendar....
