I like sprouts and they are green.....I have only ever owned one green car and that was a really well looked after Ford Orion 1.8 Ghia that was given to me by my stepfather...First night it was parked outside a bus side swiped it and a week later i wrote off two cars whilst crawling along the London embankment at 5 MPH...Yes 5 MPH!..However there wasn't any damage to the front of the car which was bloody weird...So would i own another green car...........Phuck no!

Sorry Keith. I didn't mean to offend. Just my opinion, and taste I suppose. I know some people love green cars and wouldn't buy anything else.
Tony. TCB.
No offence taken Tony. Just fancied an excuse to get a photo of the 350i up again! Someday I might be able to post one of the 390SE........ Tony. TCB.
Cheers.
I've just bought it!

200 yards into the test drive and I was smitten. My daily driver is a Porsche 911 C4S but I've never experienced like this. Words failed me!
I've just joined the TVR CC and am looking forward to contributing the various Wedge/SEAC forums. TVR owners are clearly (and now, to me, understandably) passionate about these machines...

Well done....Hopefully you will come to the Wedgefest next year and join us for a brew....Oh and if you are out and about in it then please take a pic somewhere..Just be spontaneous but bear in mind no other cars or any people in the picture and high res is preferred for the Wedge calendar...Congrats...
Thanks, all, for the welcome and encouragement.
The previous owner sadly passed away earlier this year and it had been in storage for a few years prior to this.
Recommissioned by one of his best friends - the proprietor of the garage that also handled the sale.
I doubt I'll get to drive it much this year, unless we get any more dry, late Autumn sunshine days...

This sounds familiar. I knew the previous owner.. he used to have a 400SE like myself. Colin from TVRSW also probably has knowledge of your car as he worked for Peninsula in Collumpton when the previous owner bought the car.The previous owner sadly passed away earlier this year and it had been in storage for a few years prior to this.

Looks like a great car - SEACs are pretty monumental! I see that this car hasn't got the cut out door panels but does have a 5 dial dash and a narrow transmission tunnel. TVR made so few of these cars that they all seem to be slightly different; even the body moulds changed over the car's lifespan so I suspect each car is unique.
I agree it rides high but that'll be easy to rectify if you wish; it may have been like that from new. Interesting that it's likely to be hotwire too, it should run better than the flapper system.
