Hi all. I have just bought a s1350i.Needs some tlc .just having out riggers replaced I have owned a few wedge cars in the past.i am in Exeter .just going off topic .Has any one got a set of pod mirrors for sale .i think I have seen bow m3 mirrors fitted which don't look to bad .My car is B22SRN....Thanks Mike

Hi Mike, welcome. I'm near you, in Braunton, N Devon. Not many Wedges around here? Wing mirror pods seem to be in short supply. Mine have seen better days being fixed with various screws to stop them twisting around. I think some owners elect to fit non TVR ones. In my ownership my Wedge has not been on the road yet. Bought a year ago in pieces. Still the engines in and running, now all the other jobs! Trying to source an operating link for the headlights which is proving a challenging. The T.E.T option could get expensive, £55 for S2 350i pods..I think the gubbings are Saab?...You would need to get the glass cut and pod sprayed so is probably going to come in at around £200 per pair...I do recall someone fitting BMW E21/3 mirrors although i cannot remember who...I guess it would cost around £70 each so not sure if the first option is a better one...On Delilah she originally had "Flag" type door mounted mirrors and they were like rocking horse poo to find so i went with the Howlfrauds specials which used to drop down a lot and i was for ever taking them off and tightening them up...That was one job i never got round to doing.....Perhaps give Bell hill garage a call as they might have something there...You never know...Ziga

Why not try a scrap yard such as Douglas Valley? Nothing to do with me but they do show half a dozen Wedges being scrapped at the moment. I got a complete spare rear bumper in good condition for £40 so prices are very sensible.

Ive got a pair of wing mirrors from a R reg froggy eyed Scorpio Ultima - work would probably be required to make them fit but they are fully working electric..
